I followed Dr. Maul from his previous location, and I don't regret it one bit. I've had terrible back problems as a result of a car accident. I get random flare ups all the time & every time Dr. Maul has never NOT been able to find the root cause of the problem. I recommend him and this practice to all of my family and friends!!

I am incredibly thankful for the care that Dr. Derek Maul has given to me! I've been treated by him various times—he helped treat an old neck/shoulder injury that I incurred as a result of a car accident. I had been treated for months by chiropractors and still experienced no relief from the constant pain that I had. Dr. Maul suggested a few rounds of acupuncture to help target the specific area that was causing me pain—within a few treatments, my pain began to subside and it felt like my neck/shoulder were both almost back to normal! Around the same time, Dr. Maul was also extremely helpful in my physical recovery (muscle and nervous system related) from an adverse reaction that I was experiencing. This was a hard time for me and I struggled to find many answers. Dr. Maul's care led me to the beginning of recovering. Most recently, he treated myself and my newborn after we had been hit from behind in yet another car accident. Dr. Maul is knowledgeable, caring, takes the time to get to know his patients, and gives them individualized plans to help them. As someone who is from out of state (and had a hard time finding new doctors/practices to call home) and who has never been to a chiropractor before, I have to say, Dr. Maul has my trust as a doctor of chiropractic and I wouldn't have any other chiropractor treat my family! Great office! Great and kind staff. Megan at the front desk even offered to hold my baby while I received therapy. Hands down, the most caring and peaceful practice in Charlotte!

My wife and I were lucky enough to find Dr. Maul, or as we call him, Derek. He is an awesome chiropractor and has helped me with a number of issues. I have a continual issue with my back from working and staring at a computer all day. Not only does he help get me adjusted, but he also provides me with great advice as to some rehabilitation exercises to help prevent it from coming back. Best part is, the exercises actually WORK. If you are looking for a great chiropractor in Charlotte, or Ballantyne, I highly recommend Derek.

Dr Maul takes the time to figure exactly what the underlying causes are for the pain. Then he considers all possible treatments to make sure to get results. I’m very impressed.
